Mike Uchegbu, a Nigerian actor, has criticised Nollywood for its irresponsibility, questioning why Jnr Pope was not provided a life jacket. The actor took to Instagram to bemoan the terrible situation, which may have been averted. Mike stated that no one should have to die while attempting to find their daily bread. According to him, Jnr Pope should not have agreed to travel through the river without a life jacket, especially given how inadequate the health-care system is in the event of an emergency.
